DC1 Studley

Located in Studley, Warwickshire, we use an accomplished Tier IV aligned datacentre that offers quality service and infrastructure equal to and above many of the datacentres located in the congested London area.

Security at our datacentres is foremost in our minds. We have extensive CCTV coverage, all of which is monitored by our security staff, digitally recorded and retained for up to 90 days. We have a 24/7 security team on patrol at all times. Building entry is only granted when advance notice of a visit has been confirmed through our formal processes. We utilise anti-tailgating mantrap security doors operated via our proximity access control system to ensure only authorised individuals have access.

DC2 Birmingham

Our Birmingham Central facility is an Uptime Institute Tier III design-certified site with 2,000 m2 of highly available, geographically
diverse data centre space. Built in 2016, our state-of-the-art data centre is in the true heart of Birmingham. Only minutes from Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Moor Street train stations.

Power Backup

Our campus is connected directly to the national grid via two 11kV connections, each fed from separate sub-stations. Our north datacentre uses two independent critical power distribution systems per datafloor. Our south datacentre utilises a single supply and combines this with two independent backup generator sources. Each system is backed up through battery UPS and generators. We also store enough fuel on-site for one week’s performance

Fire Protection

We take the risk of fire very seriously.
Cutting-edge fire detection systems are situated throughout our locations and all procedures are designed to highlight and minimise any potential risk.
Both our facilities utilise building-wide, multi-zonal fire detection systems with both ionisation and optical detectors in suites, roof cavities and sub-floors. To some this would be enough, but for complete peace of mind we’ve gone even further and installed VESDA aspirating smoke detectors, which are able to detect fires before they flare, allowing the best possible opportunity to detect and control the spread of fire before it can take hold

Facility Amenities

It’s important that our customers enjoy the experience of using our services. When on-campus, visitors have access to rest areas with drinks facilities when they need to take a break. If they need to touch base with the office, free WiFi is provided. For those who are with us for an extended period of time, we have male and female showers available should visitors need to freshen up.
